Lead Engineer, Schematics & Assembly, Electrical, Rail
SEGULA Technologies
• Ensure management of S&A QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) for assigned projects • Manage the S&A workload and the effective utilization of S&A designers • Manage subcontracting mandates (definition, monitoring, validation) • Create, modify, and review electrical schematics • Establish processes, methods, and tools related to these activities • Provide technical leadership by being methodical and proactive • Ensure adherence to schedules and the quality of deliverables • Drive continuous improvement and manage lessons learned (REX) from previous projects • Develop and strengthen S&A technical skills within the team • Ensure compliance with industry standards in a rail environment (health and safety, ergonomics, quality, lean manufacturing, etc.)
Job Requirements
- University degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Significant and relevant experience in the manufacturing/production sector
- Strong fundamentals in E3 or other electrical CAD software; Catia V5 is a plus
- Familiarity with engineering processes and analysis tools/methodologies (selection/sizing of cables and electrical components, voltage drop, circuit breaker coordination)
- Excellent communication skills in English and French required
- Familiarity with IT tools (Microsoft Office suite, SAP)
