Job Description

Project Manager (Technical Programmes)

Maker Lab

Role Description We’re excited to be supporting our client, a leading technology company. As a Project Manager, you are the vital connection between cutting-edge creative vision and technical feasibility. You will be a hands-on builder and leader, with a strong focus on designing and rapidly prototyping innovative, interactive experiences that bring marketing strategies to life. You will manage the roadmap for our "Brand Infrastructure"—building self-serve tools (such as logo generators or asset creators) that enable markets to scale ideas with creative integrity. You possess the creative technical literacy to not only assess feasibility but to build high-fidelity, quick prototypes, complemented by the project management skills to ensure we deliver impactful products that function effectively. This is an ideal role for someone who is looking for a creative technologist-like role where you can understand app development and creative processes. This role requires you to work in an APAC-friendly time zone, starting at 5:30 a.m. IST. - AI Prototyping: Utilise Google AI Studio, Vertex AI Agent Builder, and Canvas, etc., to proactively design, build, and deploy lightweight marketing utilities and interactive experiences (e.g., simple localisation web apps, creative asset generators) that streamline creative production and speed up daily workflows. - Interactive Program Management: Manage the end-to-end roadmap and vendor relationships for marketing tools (e.g., Event-in-a-Box microsites, Social Asset Generators) and interactive assets (e.g., webgames), ensuring creative vision is maintained through technical implementation and delivered on time and within budget. - Rapid Prototyping and Concept Validation: Translate abstract marketing concepts and design briefs into tangible, functional prototypes to test technical feasibility, gather stakeholder feedback, and accelerate the decision-making process for full-scale development. - Knowledge Infrastructure: Collaborate with the Insights & Thought Leadership team to develop and maintain the technical aspects of a claims database, ensuring the infrastructure supports the insights' needs. - Creative Workflow Optimisation: Identify friction points in creative and operational processes and implement technical automations and simple tooling (e.g., connecting APIs between tools) to eliminate manual administrative and production tasks. - Roadmap Owner: Own the delivery timeline for all technical projects, ensuring that requirements are clear, stakeholders are updated, and bottlenecks are identified and removed. Qualifications - BA/BS degree or equivalent experience - 5+ years of experience in Program Management, Interactive Production, or Product Management - Experience managing the development of web applications, interactive sites, or internal tools from conception to launch - Strong technical literacy and creative problem-solving skills—you can read API documentation, understand CMS structures, and speak the language of engineering vendors, but your focus is on creative application and rapid prototyping - Entrepreneurial attitude with a track record of "shipping" products and a portfolio of creative-technical projects - Demonstrated experience building simple applications or workflows using Google AI Studio, Gemini API, or Vertex AI. Understand the capabilities of current LLMs and how to apply them - A track record of identifying a process problem and building a tool or interactive experience (No-Code, Python, or GenAI) to fix it - Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills Requirements - Please note: due to the high volume of applications, only successful candidates will be contacted with a follow-up introduction email. If you do not receive an email from Maker Lab, your application has been unsuccessful this time around. Look out for future roles! - By submitting your application, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your data by the Maker Lab team for the purposes of your application. Where your application contains personal data of third parties, you confirm that you have obtained all necessary consents to provide the Maker Lab team with such personal data and that we may collect, use and/or disclose such data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
