Community Manager

VRChat Inc.

• Be responsible for connecting with, growing, and engaging the VRChat user community in Japan. • Focus on community-driven growth, managing core community hubs such as X, Discord and LINE. • Collaborate closely with various stakeholders in the Japanese VRChat ecosystem. • Operate as a highly proactive community builder who can execute quickly in a fast-paced environment while working directly with users, partners, and internal teams to strengthen the VRChat ecosystem in Japan.

Job Requirements

  • 4-7+ years of experience in a platform company, gaming/entertainment company, or creator ecosystem environment.
  • Hands-on experience managing online communities such as X, Discord, LINE, or creator-driven communities.
  • Deep understanding of Japanese internet culture, the VTuber ecosystem, and creator communities.
  • Experience planning and executing field marketing, grassroots activities, or community-driven events.
  • Highly proactive and comfortable operating in a lean environment without large budgets or teams.
  • Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency.
