Patient Community Manager

Role Description We’re looking for a proactive, empathetic Community Manager to join our busy, growing Marketing Department - someone who knows how to spark genuine connection at scale. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and someone who is passionate about improving health and building a community that inspires progress and belonging. You’ll help shape how Releaf engages with patients, advocates, and online communities, building trust, sharing stories, and growing our presence across multiple platforms. This is a varied, hands-on role with full training and support, but we’re looking for a self-starter who thrives on ownership, manages their own workflow, and takes initiative to grow our communities across multiple platforms. Ideally you’ll have 2+ years’ experience managing online communities or in advocacy roles, with experience in healthcare, lifestyle or wellness space, highly desirable, and be confident working remotely. Key Responsibilities - Community Engagement & Moderation: Monitor and engage with Releaf’s online audiences across platforms (including Meta and other forums), responding promptly and empathetically to build trust and strengthen relationships. - Reputation Management: Respond to Trustpilot and other public reviews, addressing feedback thoughtfully and in line with brand values. - Patient Advocacy & Storytelling: Lead Releaf's Patient Stories Initiative by conducting interviews, capturing authentic experiences, and collaborating with the content team to bring patient voices to life. - Community Growth: Expand Releaf’s presence in external communities and identifying other relevant forums for engagement. - Charity & Campaign Partnerships: Support and develop partnerships with charities, focusing on awareness days, campaigns, and meaningful collaborations aligned with Releaf’s mission. - Influencer & Advocate Support: Assist in influencer marketing initiatives, building relationships with KOLs, patient advocates, and brand ambassadors to amplify Releaf’s reach. - Reporting & Insights: Track community engagement metrics, share insights on audience sentiment, and identify opportunities to improve patient experience and brand presence.
