Role Description We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to join Utopia’s Real Estate team. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects in tropical environments, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with budgetary constraints. - Assist in planning and scheduling construction activities to ensure timely project completion. - Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met. - Support procurement efforts by obtaining quotes and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors. - Track project progress, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions. - Monitor construction budgets, ensuring cost control and financial reporting accuracy. - Assist in preparing and reviewing contracts, work orders, and change orders. - Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and meeting minutes. - Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals. - Support in resolving any construction-related issues that may arise. Role Description We are actively seeking a proficient Python Developer specializing in Python, Data Orchestration, Kubernetes, database technologies, and with experience in Agile methodologies to play a pivotal role in our Dataspaces project. This role involves expertise in relational databases, SQL, object storage (S3), a strong commitment to unit testing as well as understanding of Kubernetes. - Python Development: Architect, implement, and maintain backend services for our Dataspaces project, following Agile best practices in Python development. - Data Orchestration: Implement example data services and workflows using native python code in our orchestration engine. - Database Management: Design and optimize both relational SQL databases, and access to Object Storage (S3), and ensure seamless integration within the Dataspaces framework, all while adhering to Agile methodologies. - Unit Testing: Develop and implement robust unit tests to ensure the reliability and accuracy of backend systems within the Dataspaces project, following Agile testing principles. - Orchestration with Kubernetes: Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes to automate deployment, scaling, and management across various environments, ensuring high availability and resilience in line with Agile deployment practices. - Agile Methodology: Collaborate effectively within an Agile development team, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to deliver high-quality software iteratively.
