Role Description This role involves providing accurate and technical IR/ER advice to clients, including HR Managers, Business Owners, and Line Managers, on various operational matters such as: - Performance management - Misconduct - Termination - Personal illness - Discrimination/harassment - Adverse actions - Litigious proceedings - Award interpretation - Industrial disputes Additional responsibilities include: - Completing compliance audits for clients, providing recommendations and interpretations on award coverage and HR compliance improvements. - Raising complex and/or high-risk matters for assistance with Senior Workplace Advisors or Team Leaders. - Managing high volume calls and email inquiries, providing calm, professional, and accurate support and advice. - Contributing to the brand and client knowledge base through content creation for blogs, posts, webinars, and client guides. - Participating in ongoing department projects for process improvements and awards summaries. - Liaising with the legal team for complex disputes, claims, and investigations. - Providing guidance to the sales and marketing team to support the growth of the advisory product. - Creating and posting knowledge base articles/blogs for the website and social media. - Championing improvement initiatives within the HR Advisory team using problem-solving tools. - Ensuring advice is given only to authorized contacts in Salesforce and updating relevant changes in Salesforce and Zendesk. - Maintaining detailed and accurate records of advice, including logging Zendesk or Salesforce tickets with call notes or emails to clients. This role can be based anywhere in Australia. Qualifications - 1-2 years experience at an HR Advisor level (or equivalent). - Qualifications in HR, Law, Business, or similar fields (preferable). - Strong ability to advise on Industrial Relations matters; award interpretation is highly regarded. - Good time management, attention to detail, and customer service skills. - Excellent levels of written and verbal communication skills. - Competent in managing and influencing stakeholders while advising on a range of HR matters. - Proficient in learning and using different software, systems, tools, and technologies; knowledge of Salesforce, Zendesk, and Employment Hero is highly regarded. - Customer-focused with the ability to build strong ongoing relationships. - Experience working collaboratively as part of a global and remote team environment. Job Requirements
