Architectural Drafter

Role Description As a Drafter, you’ll support the development of custom projects by translating concepts into clear, detailed technical drawings. You’ll work closely with architects and engineers, using tools like CAD and Revit to produce drawings for both new builds and adaptive reuse projects. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, self-managed, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment where some days are quiet and others require more collaboration. You’ll be handling multiple projects, adjusting details, and ensuring everything meets code and quality standards. Responsibilities - Produce technical drawings using CAD and Revit for residential and commercial projects. - Translate initial design concepts into precise architectural documents. - Review project concepts and apply reusable components from past projects while drafting and designing. - Coordinate with structural engineers to make model or detail adjustments. - Work on 1–2 primary projects at a time, with occasional involvement across multiple others. - Communicate clearly and professionally via email, with occasional phone or Teams. - Apply and follow building codes, especially the IBC (International Building Code). - Ensure consistency and quality across all drawing sets.
