• The Epic Clarity Analyst/SQL Developer works with end-user requests to detail moderately to sophisticated business requirements • Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business/clinical needs • Produces data sets, reports, dashboards, etc. • Conducts data analysis in support of various analytic solutions • Writes moderately sophisticated structured Query Language (SQL) codes and queries • Analyzes complex problems and issues using data from internal and external sources • Demonstrates strong understanding of report analysis and development • Provides sophisticated report and data analysis with the help of team members, vendors, and/or other EIS department contacts • Manages testing projects as necessary • Contributes to strategy discussions by proactively identifying options with associated pros and cons
Job Requirements
- Three (3) plus years’ experience with SQL
- Demonstrated ability with a range of query tools such as Python, R, Oracle, SAS, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Microsoft SQL, Tableau
- Developing Epic Tapestry Clarity reports preferred
- Hands on experience performing reporting analysis and developing custom reports
- Familiarity with databases used in patient care, administrative applications for hospitals, and data warehousing technology
- Experience analyzing basic to moderately sophisticated Clarity report requests, Reporting Workbench and Radar build requests
- Demonstrated understanding of healthcare applications as well as the needs and priorities of patient care providers
- Technical proficiency in Reporting Workbench and Radar build
