Temporal Technologies
• Collaborate with prospects to determine if their applications fit Temporal’s platform well. • Educate customers and prospects on the technical benefits and limitations of Temporal’s platform and cloud service. • Position Temporal as a leading solution against competing technologies and architectural patterns. • Foster an environment within customer engineering organizations to increase the adoption and expansion of Temporal in production environments. • Partner closely with Account Executives to develop and execute comprehensive account plans. • Manage and nurture relationships with technical decision-makers within customer organizations, ensuring they fully leverage Temporal’s capabilities.
Job Requirements
- Reside within the Mountain or Pacific time zones.
- Exceptional technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing.
- Deep understanding of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices.
- Proficiency in building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance using one or more of Temporal’s supported languages: Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C# or PHP.
- Firm grasp of operational considerations in production environments, such as security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.
- Ability to provide insightful advice on architectural topics, including application patterns and platform architectures.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider and familiarity with commonly used application development and production services.
- Serve as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives, assisting with scoping and sizing opportunities and offering guidance on technical fit and challenges.
