The Senior AI Solutions Architect is an advanced subject matter expert, primarily responsible for consulting with the client and working with internal teams to create strategies, transformational designs and the architectural vision for more complex private and sovereign AI that address the clients’ needs. It emphasizes ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and executive-level audiences; strong communication, consultative mindset, and being able to articulate benefits of on-prem vs cloud AI infrastructure (especially for compliance, latency, security contexts). This role acts as a trusted technical advisor specializing in positioning comprehensive AI solutions for customers. Responsibilities include identifying AI-use cases, assessing infrastructure needs, and designing full-stack solutions that meet the customers’ business and technical requirements. To thrive in this role, you need to have: Key Responsibilities: - Architect end-to-end AI solutions: secure AI factories, data architectures, and automation frameworks. - Identifies and evaluates alternative architectures and the trade-offs in cost, performance and scalability. - Produces specifications of cloud-based or on-premises components, tiers and interfaces, for translation into detailed designs using selected services and products. - Supports a change program or project through the preparation of technical plans and application of design principles that comply with enterprise and solution architecture standards. - Accountable for understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis and problem resolution. - Monitors the external environment to gather intelligence on emerging technologies. - Creates reports and technology roadmaps and shares knowledge and insights with others. - Designs components using appropriate modelling techniques following agreed architectures, design standards, patterns and methodology. - Lead the technical response for RFPs/RFIs, including architecture diagrams, delivery plans, assumptions, estimates, and risk analysis. - Build and deliver executive-level presentations and solution briefings. - Create high-quality proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and POV/POC plans. - Support business development teams in deal qualification, competitive positioning, and differentiation. - Reviews, verifies and improves own designs against specifications. - Makes recommendations for the development of new go to market services and contributes knowledge on relevant verticals. - Operates across both the technical levels within the enterprise architecture and the value chain in order to develop holistic and integrated solutions. - Provides coaching and mentoring to less experienced Solutions Architects. Knowledge and Attributes: - Advanced knowledge of multi-vendor service integrations and cross-functional software, OS’s and infrastructure designs. - Excellent communication skills both verbal and written coupled with excellent interpersonal skills to build solid working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Advanced knowledge on how specific infrastructures and application software are deployed in line with relevant methodologies and frameworks. - Ability to develop and leverage their advanced specialist knowledge of reference architectures. - Ability to maintain knowledge of trends and development in technology domains. - Ability to keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. - Advanced ability to collaborate with cross functional teams such as sales, product, delivery etc. Academic Qualifications and Certifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or business or a related field. - Certification and working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies (for example, TOGAF, Zachman, SOA, ITIL, COBIT, etc.). - Safe Scaled Agile certification advantageous. - Certified Software related certification is desired. - Cisco CCIE and/or Cisco CCXP certification strongly desired. Required experience: - Have a minimum of 6 years of technical consulting experience (or similar), plus at least a couple of years of pre-sales experience designing & selling data center / AI infrastructure solutions. - Industry experience in sectors such as financial services, manufacturing, or healthcare - Significant experience working with OEM partners such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Dell, HPE and others relevant partners. - Experience with architecting end-to-end AI solutions: secure AI factories, data architectures, and automation frameworks. - Advanced professional technical, IT or Operations experience within a large scale (preferably global, multi- national) technology services environment on the following areas: Application Support and Infrastructure Support. - Advanced Project or Program Management experience would be preferred but not essential. - Advanced client engagement and consulting experience coupled with solid experience in client needs assessment and change management. - Advanced experience in integrating the solution for the particular project with the business domain, enterprise concerns, industry standards, established patterns and best practices. - Advanced experience working in an agile development environment. - Advanced experience in developing, selling and delivering technical solutions. Travel: - As needed based on business needs up to 50% with possible international travel if needed.
