The Informaticist 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. The Informaticist 2 leverages advanced expertise in data analytics, modeling, optimization, and analytical tools to deliver disciplined, data driven insights that predict behavior and optimize programs to support organizational growth. The Informaticist 2 supports and advances CMS Star measures through end to end ownership of key data assets, close coordination with Clinical partners, and execution of targeted interventions. Responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing Stars related datasets, ensuring data quality, and enabling accurate measure performance tracking. In collaboration with Clinical teams, this role aligns operational workflows, informs measure strategy, and ensures cohesive implementation of outreach programs. Additional duties include developing and maintaining reporting solutions, monitoring outreach effectiveness, and generating insights that drive improved Stars performance across the organization. The Informaticist 2 makes decisions regarding their own work methods, including in ambiguous situations, with minimal direction and guidance as needed, while adhering to established guidelines and procedures.
