Backed by top-tier venture capital firms like a16z and Lightspeed, k-ID is entering a phase of growth to define the standard for global digital safety. ⸻ Role Overview We are seeking a commercially driven Sales Development Representative to help build a pipeline across the AI sector. This role is focused on identifying and engaging prospective enterprise customers among AI companies, foundation model providers, chatbot platforms, creator tools (image and voice specifically), developer platforms, and other technology organizations facing increasing pressure around youth safety, privacy, identity, and age assurance. This is an inside sales role focused on outbound prospecting, account research, qualification, and early stage relationship building. You will work closely with the sales and leadership team to generate qualified opportunities and help open doors with senior stakeholders across product, legal, trust and safety, privacy, policy, security, and engineering. The ideal candidate is hungry, organized, commercially sharp, and comfortable operating in a fast moving startup environment. You should be excited by outbound sales, strong at researching target accounts, and able to communicate credibly with sophisticated buyers in highly regulated digital markets. ⸻ Key Responsibilities Pipeline Generation and Outbound Prospecting - Identify and research high value AI accounts and target buyers across North America. - Build and manage outbound prospecting campaigns across email, LinkedIn, events follow up, and other channels. - Generate qualified meetings and sales opportunities for the enterprise sales team and founders. - Develop tailored messaging for different buyer personas including product, legal, privacy, trust and safety, policy, security, and engineering leaders. - Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on strategic fit, urgency, and buying potential. - Maintain consistent activity levels and performance against pipeline generation goals. Account Research and Market Coverage - Map target accounts and identify relevant stakeholders, pain points, product launches, regulatory exposure, and integration needs. - Track developments across the AI ecosystem relating to youth safety, privacy, age assurance, and platform governance. - Help identify high priority segments including model providers, consumer AI products, education technology, creator tools, and developer platforms. - Provide structured feedback to leadership on messaging, objections, and market signals.
