Role Description The National Account Manager is the primary point of contact for National and Major Accounts consisting of clients with multiple locations across several provinces. This role works closely with both corporate stakeholders (operations, procurement, sustainability) and site-level leadership (Environmental Services Managers and Executive Directors) to ensure both strategic oversight and day-to-day service delivery are effectively managed. Fluency in spoken and written Canadian French is required for this role. What You Will Be Doing - Client Relationship Management: - Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients. - Act as the primary contact for national accounts, ensuring high client satisfaction and addressing issues or concerns as they arise. - Sales and Revenue Growth: - Identify opportunities to expand services with existing clients, including temporary bins and special services where Waste Solutions has capabilities. - Ensure sister accounts and newly acquired client locations are successfully transitioned to Waste Solutions. - Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. - Conduct regular business reviews with clients to understand their needs and align them with company offerings. - Strategic Planning: - Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions for client needs. - Work closely with internal finance teams on budgets and reporting. - Coordinate with the sustainability team on ESG reporting requirements. - Partner with the operations team to identify procurement and logistics opportunities. - Analyze market trends and competitor activity to support strategic account growth. - Contract Negotiation and Management: - Negotiate contracts and agreements with national accounts to secure long-term partnerships. - Ensure all contracts are executed in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. - Day-to-Day Account Management: - Address and resolve service issues or conflicts with national accounts. - Coordinate with customer service and operations teams to ensure prompt and effective resolution of client concerns. - Travel as required to meet with clients and strengthen relationships within Ottawa and Quebec Regions.
