Contract Associate II - Remote

Labcorp is seeking a US remote based Contract Associate II to join our team to support our Mid-America division. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm central time zone Job Responsibilities: - Provide end-to-end contracting of divisional client contracts, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal requirements - Play a key part in supporting business objectives with urgency by facilitating timely contract execution, managing exceptions, and maintaining strong client relationships through clear and effective contract processes. - Provide coaching and training for new hires on contracting policies and best practices. - Work with a team of contracts professionals in all aspects of contract creation and management - Draft, review and negotiate high profile, complex client contracts using pre-approved corporate templates, ensuring consistency and adherence to company policies and risk standard, escalating as needed - Review redlines using pre-approved language (approved deviations) and make determinations. Request escalations to Contract Associate III or management as needed. - Address client questions, and drafts emails and or participates on calls related to client questions - Escalate client concerns on information requests, compliance confirmations, pricing and business team questions, and requests for client calls as needed - Provide escalation assistance for redlines outside of pre-approved optional language - Prepare requests for Law Department review and sends contracts for Law Department review - Secure contract signatures, returns executed documents to the client and returns contracts to corporate teams. Loads final documents into the contract management system - Clearly and accurately informs clients and management of the status of ongoing projects, including time frames, changes to plans, problems, solutions, etc. - Work with management on annual reporting per law department and compliance policies - Provide status tracking of unique, challenging client contracts inside the life cycle (e.g., chasing signatures, etc.). Escalate, as needed. - Partner with the Law Department to interpret contractual terms, resolve disputes, and ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards - Work closely with business units to understand client requirements, operational objectives, and service expectations to translate them into contractual terms - Advise internal stakeholders on contract structure, process, and risk considerations. Coordinate with stakeholders to identify and resolve contract exceptions and escalations - Create, update, and maintain client records within the contract management system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. - Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of client records in the contract management system - Monitor for duplicate, missing, or inconsistent client data and oversee resolution of discrepancies - Provide monitoring of unique/challenging client bid opportunities and communicates such opportunities to management for assignment - Assist in the preparation and submission of bid proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitation documents, including crafting responses to bid questions utilizing standard pre-approved language - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary documentation, pricing, and compliance information - Review bid terms and conditions to identify contractual obligations, risks, and compliance requirements, as assigned by management - Track bid timelines, deadlines, and approvals to ensure timely submission. - Package proposal for legal review and submission out to routine clients - Secure signatures, returns executed documents, and loads into contract management system - Support post-bid clarifications and contract award negotiations. - Communicate bid submissions and results to the Law Department for Monthly Report - Attend calls, as assigned, with M&A Project Team to learn about Target Company, clients, service offerings, etc. - Perform reviews of the client contracts in the Project data room, to look for service offerings, etc., that are non-standard for Labcorp, and which should be brought to the Project Team calls - Create new contracts/assignments of contracts, where needed Minimum Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years or more of experience in contracts management OR Associate’s degree and 3 years or more of experience in contracts management Preferred Qualifications: - 2 years or more of experience in healthcare industry contracts management - Associate’s degree and 5 years or more of experience in contracts management Additional Job Standards: - Strong communication skills; both written and verbal - Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs and Adobe - High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask - Strong organization skills and able to adapt to high pressure - Able to change directions in workload based on required timeframes - Able to work independently, and as a team, with little to no supervision Application Window Closes: 3/27/2026 **Pay Range: $66,000 - $75,000 / year All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
