Remote role- MUST BE BASED IN WISCONSIN OR ILLINOIS within 30 minutes of an Advocate/Aurora Facility. Pay Range $38.20 - $57.30 MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES - Accurately and effectively processes image data sets, including but not limited to: MRI/CT brain perfusion studies, MSK 2D/3D processing and analysis, CT calcium scoring, MR/CT cardiac studies, and PET/CT fusion. - Prioritizes workload appropriately and organizes efficient workflow so that advanced visualization studies are processed within approved time frames. - Monitors Imaging tracking system (PACS Tracker), PACS, and RIS scanning schedules in order to ensure that all studies requiring advanced post processing by the 3D lab are identified and processed. - Works closely with Imaging physicians and technologists in order to determine the appropriate image processing to be performed when collaboration is indicated on any specific patient study. - Discerns the difference between normal and abnormal anatomy. - Effectively troubleshoots hardware and software issues encountered in the 3D lab, and appropriately escalates issues to supervisors, IT, and vendors when necessary. - Develops and evaluates new or revised procedures and protocols associated with advanced visualization. - Assists with training of departmental staff on newly implemented procedures, protocols and techniques associated with advanced visualization. - Maintains and updates written procedures manual for Imaging 3D lab. - Works with PACS/RIS team and vendors to support integration of advanced post processing with PACS, including software/hardware upgrades and integration. - Works with PACS/RIS team in the support of daily PACS/RIS operations including image reconciliation and other related duties. - Performs other related duties as assigned or required. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED License/Registration/Certification Required: Computed Tomography (CT) registration and certification, or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) registration and certification Issued by (Governing Body): - Computed Tomography (CT) registration and certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) registration and certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) registration and certification Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT), or - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) registration and certification American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) Education Required: Advanced Training Beyond High School in CT or MR Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of patient imaging experience in CT and/or MRI, AND Minimum 2 years of advanced experience post-processing CT and/or MRI imaging with multiple applications. Assignments are planned and executed with considerable independence in compliance with established policies and procedures, bylaws, regulations and laws. Duties and Responsibilities of this Level - Organizing and directing of a comprehensive and specialized credentialing program to assure continued accreditation compliance by the Joint Commission, NCQA, and AAAHC, as well as any other regulatory organizations. - Interpretation, explanation and following all regulatory guidelines, including medical staff bylaws, fair hearing plan, rules and regulations and policies. - Maintaining accuracy in the Credentialing database to identify (and disseminate to others), medical staff members and their clinical privileges; prepares and maintains other related records and reports.
