Job Description NBCUniversal is looking for a process-oriented, quality assurance professional with an eye for detail and a passion for perfection to join a dynamic new team supporting our Direct to Consumer business. The Media Operations Technician willhelp support our rapidly growing streaming video catalog. You'll assist with numerous content validation efforts, checking availability and playability for published video records across a variety of device platforms and services. Organization and an acuity for accuracy will benefit you greatly in this role. Experience with multi-language content review, provisioning and servicing will be a huge plus. The ideal candidate will be able to service and complete a broad assortment of quality assurance requests ranging from simple, predictable pre-launch content readiness assessments to urgent, convoluted evaluations and verifications for issue management. We also hope you know your way around web browsers, smartphones, TVs, gaming consoles, cable boxes and other tech gadgets as they'll play a part in your day-to-day work. Your diligence in operational efficiencies will be immediately reflected on the platform, ensuring users have a consistent and enjoyable viewing experience. This dedication to precise program presentation will help ensure our success within the competitive, rapidly evolving digital marketplace. Responsibilities: - Support content quality control and assurance efforts, prioritizing and addressing high-profile, high-volume requests under tight deadlines with attention to detail - Perform validation and content presence checks across a multitude of device platforms, including mobile tablets (Amazon Fire, iPad), mobile devices (iOS, Android), streaming devices (Fire TV, Roku) game consoles (PlayStation/Xbox), smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Vizio), cable provider STBs (Cox, Xfinity) - Review captions and subtitles to ensure timing, accuracy, and overall quality aligns with platform standards - Verify that imagery meets platform specifications and maintains visual quality across supported devices - Maintain quality assurance guidelines and control protocols; working with technology, product, and customer service teams to analyze, regulate, and continuously improve the on-platform user experience - Track and update QA fulfillment progress through our databases - Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to streamline quality control communication channels, workflows and issue management Qualifications Requirements: - Associate degree or equivalent work experience. - Minimum 1 year of experience with: - Content quality assurance testing, protocols, techniques and governance - Streaming apps on digital platforms and consumer products - Working knowledge of: - Consumer playback platforms such as mobile, streaming devices, game consoles, and smart TVs. - Multi-language asset content delivery and QA - Content management system (CMS) publishing workflows - Research and consulting on publishing procedures, administration protocols, and industry trends - Familiarity with: - Database management and API delivery specifications & workflows - Project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum and collaboration products such as JIRA, Confluence and Airtable - European languages (Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, etc.) preferred Desired Characteristics: - Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred - Television entertainment industry experience preferred - Excellent and effective communication and collaboration skills - Proactive problem solver with the ability to prioritize and concurrently handle multiple, time sensitive requests within a high-pressure environment - Understanding of traditional MVPD distribution in comparison to emerging OTT services: AVOD, SVOD, TVOD, PVOD - Experience working with numerous teams across large organizations Additional Requirements: - Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. Opportunity Overview: Cohere’s Clinical Operations team is responsible for ensuring that our healthcare partners are supported throughout their lifecycle of using the platform. The Manager, Clinical Operations position is a crucial role in our organization. In this role, you are responsible for coaching, mentoring, evaluating and developing the Reviewer team leadership and front line staff.
