• The Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Services is responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and continuously improving enterprise data center infrastructure services, including VMware virtualization platforms, server compute, storage, disaster recovery, and backup technologies. This role ensures stability, performance, security, and recoverability of systems that support critical clinical and business operations across LifePoint’s hospital footprint. • As a key contributor to the Data Center Center of Excellence (COE), the Systems Engineer drives infrastructure standardization, operational consistency, uptime and availability of systems as well as risk mitigation across virtualization, compute, storage, and data protection platforms. • The position provides hands-on engineering and operational support, including proactive monitoring, issue triage, incident resolution, and lifecycle management to reduce operational risk, improve resiliency, and support high-availability and disaster recovery objectives. • The Systems Engineer partners with engineering, operations, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver infrastructure initiatives, support enterprise projects, and enforce disciplined change management and operational best practices. This role helps ensure infrastructure services meet defined service levels, compliance requirements, and recovery objectives while enabling scalable, secure, and cost-effective operations across the enterprise.

• Ensure flow down of product requirements both internally and to sub-tier suppliers through PO requirements, Quality Notes, and Statements of Work. • Interpret and explain these requirements to ensure supply base both understands and complies with these quality requirements. • Drive continuous product / process improvements of our supply base by identifying supplier risk & systemic performance issues and driving solutions through various tools/methodologies including: Root Cause Corrective Actions, Statistical/analytical improvement tools such as Six Sigma and Lean Methodologies. • Apply Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes related to supplier performance and implementation of necessary engagements to improve supplier manufacturing processes. • Perform defect data analysis and review with the program managers and supplier management, which will assist in developing Supplier improvement plans. • Lead and participate in multi-functional teams in problem resolution and continuous improvement activities with an emphasis on six sigma, lean practices and other analytical improvement methods and tools. • Identify and document supplier risk; develop mitigation plans to reduce, eliminate and prevent supplied product defects. • Support containment activities associated with discrepant material, with assistance from functional stakeholders. • Drive the supplier corrective action process, review, approval and monitoring; assure containment, closed loop Root Cause Corrective Action is obtained; communicate issue and resolution to functional stakeholders. • You should anticipate some travel (Up to 25%) to support supplier assessments, audits, reviews at supplier locations.

• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the design and preparation of the following Substation Site Development deliverables: • Substation site grading plans • Stormwater management plans, hydrologic/hydraulic calculations, and drainage reports • Erosion and sediment control plans • Access road layout and design • Yard layout coordination and site optimization • Drainage design, culvert sizing, and ditch/berm design • Oil containment system design (berms, trenches, impervious liners) • Substation site demolition and restoration plans • Development of Bill of Materials based on Design Criteria • Coordination with electrical physical design, structural, and protection & controls teams • Integrating geotechnical recommendations into site design • Supporting permitting documentation for stormwater, erosion control, floodplain, and other civil requirements • Participating in client meetings and performing site visits as required • Interpreting and incorporating vendor/contractor information into design deliverables • Applying client standards and ensuring all QA/QC processes are followed • Continuous improvement of engineering, technical knowledge, and professional skillsets

• Applies technical knowledge and competency to the design, development, and maintenance of systems that control and monitor physical parameters within a range of nuclear industry applications • Works as part of an integrated design team, interacting with other design disciplines to specify and select instruments, final control elements, and control systems for reactor plants and fuel cycle facilities • Creates and maintains instrumentation documentation including calculations, drawings, specifications, calibration procedures and maintenance plans • May develop and implement software for control systems or prepare software specifications to guide development by others • Supports installation and construction by developing control system validation/testing protocols • Ensures plant instrumentation complies with nuclear safety requirements, and health, safety and environmental regulations • Provides technical support and training to staff on instruments and control systems • Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the Instrumentation/Control work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope • Depending on experience and qualifications, may be responsible for defining the scope of the project, with full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, and executing project assignments • Performs engineering design • Prepares or oversees the preparation of preliminary and final design products, submitting them for approval • Coordinates work with other engineers and professionals within and outside own discipline, and with support services staff • Guides, mentors, and reviews work of more junior engineers, designers and technicians • Depending on experience and qualifications, may conduct quality control checks, reviewing calculations, designs, evaluations, and specifications developed by junior engineers and designers • Performs work that involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials or procedures, or difficult coordination requirements • Depending on experience and qualifications, may carry out complex or novel assignments requiring diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments • Performs other duties as assigned
