Senior Financial Analyst

• Examines historical and projected financial data to provide valuable data upon which to make relevant financial decisions. • Performs a variety of financial activities including planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting. • Must have strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills and be able to present financial information and models in a concise and easily comprehensible manner. • When applicable, manages the financial relationship with vendors. • Responsibilities may include: Financial reclassifications and adjustments to the financial baseline as a result of approved contract changes; resolutions of questions regarding the Workday cost centers; review and management of directly paid expenses to ensure streamlined invoicing processes; monthly invoice reviews; and validation of savings achieved by approved gain share eligible initiatives • Developing standard and ad hoc reports • Assisting in imports or exports of data • Performing periodic audits of data sources • Maintain a current knowledge of healthcare trends and operations. • Assists other teams and participates in assigned projects as a financial support resource. • Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports. • Tracking KPIs and preparing financial reports. • Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes. • Understanding key business drivers. • Assisting clients with financial guidance. • Developing financial projections and building financial models. • Performing research and analysis as required. • Ensures compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and other regulations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or comparable discipline; or combination of post-secondary education and experience (required)
- 3+ year of experience in financial planning and analysis or accounting (required)
- Experience with both capital and operating expense management (preferred)
- Healthcare experience (preferred)
