• Work closely with and support the Portfolio Management team on the day-to-day investment management operations including oversight of all Quality Assurance tasks • Perform optimization testing and scenario analysis using optimization tools such as Northfield • Conduct ad hoc investment research by writing code in SQL and Python • Collaborate and communicate with trading and operations teams to implement effective trading strategies • Work closely with sales consultants in reviewing tax transition optimizations, mitigate issues raised, respond to client requests • Partner with product management and technology teams to develop, automate and enhance systems and processes to improve portfolio management efficiency, draft JIRA requirements • Perform testing plan and execution of UAT across latest development releases
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in financial or quantitative discipline, CFA preferred
- 2-5 years of investment management experience
- Knowledge of quantitative investing and portfolio management concepts including risk modeling, optimization (Northfield Open Optimizer), portfolio construction, index methodology
- Experience in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, advanced Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure with high attention to detail
- Team player working with highly collaborative and cross-functional teams

This position reports to the Supervisor – Reference Services and works cooperatively with other library staff to support library services. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Provide reference and research services for learners, faculty and staff, and assist users in developing effective skills, competencies, and strategies using library databases and other online resources.
