Inside Account Manager
Alcon
• Focus on developing long term customer relationships. • Sales are typically achieved through assigned accounts and qualified leads • Assessing customers’ needs and presenting the features and benefits of product/service offerings to existing/new customers • Engaging in contract renewals, price negotiation, and volume discounts for customer retention and continued business. • Increase sales and generate profit achieving annual corporate and territory financial objectives by selling Alcon’s vision care portfolio of products, promoting Alcon Services through in-market promotions, and by collaborating with Eye Care Practitioners to improve the profitability of their practices • Drive sales results through your knowledge of the market, customers, competitors and Alcon product, sales skills, and prioritization of activities • Advise customers of products, promotions, and services to generate new business or to increase business. • Provide coverage for open territories for vacant account managers and provide to account managers with larger customers as needed. • Adhere to company sales policy and guidelines.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs.; Assoc.+4 yrs.; M.S.)
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
