Technician / Warehouse Manager Reports to: CEO, GoGun LLC Location: Winter Park, FL preferred. Remote may be considered for candidates with their own fully equipped shop. Compensation: $50,000-$80,000, depending on experience and capabilities Employment Type: Full-time Position Summary GoGun is seeking a hands-on Technician / Warehouse Manager to support technical service, repairs, product development, shop operations, and content support across our product lines. This is an ideal role for someone who is mechanically inclined, highly resourceful, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-growing company. The right person is a fast learner, strong communicator, flexible, and comfortable shifting between technical repair work, warehouse operations, prototyping, and occasional content-production support. A college degree is not required. If you have a degree, certification, military background, trade training, or other experience that adds value to this role, please include it in your application. Core Responsibilities Service and Repair (45%) - Diagnose, service, repair, and test airguns, crossbows, and related products. - Track incoming repairs, document issues, communicate status updates, and ensure timely completion. - Help customers troubleshoot product issues and determine whether repairs, replacement parts, or warranty support are needed. - Maintain repair records and help improve internal repair workflows. Content and Support (25%) - Create or support instructional videos explaining product use, setup, service, and repair. - Help develop written manuals, guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting resources. - Support YouTube and/or TikTok production by building props and targets, scouting locations, ordering materials, and coordinating with collaborators or influencers. - Contribute ideas for content that improves customer trust and reduces support burden. Logistics and Inventory (15%) - Receive, organize, count, and store products, parts, tools, and supplies. - Pick, pack, and prepare shipments. - Coordinate shipments with carriers, brokers, and freight forwarders as needed. - Order spare parts, shop supplies, and packaging materials. - Monitor inventory levels and help prevent stockouts, delays, and fulfillment errors. Product Development and Assembly (10%) - Assist with product design, prototyping, testing, and refinement. - Build prototypes, fixtures, targets, jigs, and small production runs. - Perform light assembly, kitting, and quality control. - Work with manufacturers and vendors to help move products from idea to market. - Help ensure vendors have accurate specifications, feedback, and deadlines. Shop and Equipment Maintenance (5%) - Keep the shop, tools, equipment, and work areas organized, safe, and fully usable. - Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, including 3D printers and related shop systems. - Maintain parts, consumables, and workstations in ready-to-use condition. Qualifications Required - Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools and shop equipment. - Ability to diagnose problems, learn technical systems quickly, and work independently. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through without close supervision. - Comfort working in a fast-changing small-business environment. Preferred - Experience repairing airguns, crossbows, bicycles, automotive components, drones, firearms, archery equipment, or other mechanical products. - Experience in warehouse, shipping, inventory, or fulfillment operations. - Experience with 3D printing, CAD, prototyping, or light fabrication. - Experience making instructional content, product demos, or workshop videos. - Familiarity with Shopify, shipping software, spreadsheets, or basic inventory systems. Success in This Role A successful person in this role will: - Complete repairs accurately and on time. - Communicate clearly with customers and the team. - Keep the shop organized and operational. - Help improve products, instructions, and support materials. - Take ownership of problems and solve them with minimal hand-holding. Performance Evaluation Performance will be evaluated based on: - Timely completion and accurate tracking of repairs. - Quality of communication with customers and internal team members. - Accuracy and reliability in shipping, receiving, and inventory handling. - Contribution to product development, testing, and process improvement. - Creation of useful service content and support materials. - Overall initiative, dependability, and problem-solving ability. Physical / Work Requirements - Ability to lift and move boxes, parts, and equipment as needed. - Ability to stand, bend, and work with tools for extended periods. - Ability to work safely in a shop and warehouse environment. - For remote candidates: must have an appropriate workspace, tools, and ability to receive and process products safely and reliably.
