State Integrations & Compliance Manager | Fully Remote | U.S. State Agency Integrations

About the Role We’re looking for a State Integrations & Compliance Manager to lead the acquisition and management of API integrations with U.S. state agencies (DMV/BMV/DPS). This is a high-impact role focused on unlocking access to government data systems and building scalable integrations across all states. You will own the full integration lifecycle from identifying APIs and securing access to ensuring compliance and ongoing system reliability. What You’ll Do API Integrations & Access (Core Focus) - Identify APIs, data feeds, and integration methods across states - Determine access types (REST, SOAP, SFTP, portals, third-party providers) - Contact agencies to validate access and onboarding requirements - Build and maintain a structured database of integrations Integration Ownership - Own the full lifecycle: discovery → outreach → application → approval - Secure API credentials, sandbox access, and production approvals - Coordinate technical onboarding (IP whitelisting, credentials, etc.) Agency Communication - Act as the main point of contact for state agencies - Communicate on both operational and basic technical topics - Drive consistent follow-ups to move integrations forward Compliance & Documentation - Manage applications and compliance documentation (DPPA, security, etc.) - Ensure all records are accurate and audit-ready - Support audits and regulatory requirements What We’re Looking For Experience with APIs, integrations, or technical onboarding Strong organization and ability to manage multiple workflows - Comfortable working with government systems or compliance processes - Strong communication skills (technical + non-technical) - Highly persistent and detail-oriented Success in This Role Looks Like - API integrations secured and activated across multiple states - Consistent onboarding progress with no delays - Strong relationships with agency contacts - Fully compliant, audit-ready documentation Why Join Us? - Fully remote - Work directly with U.S. government systems - High-impact role in a fast-growing company - Opportunity to build expertise in integrations + compliance
