• Pre-Sales Technical Support – Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers across the full sales lifecycle, serving as a technical resource in new logo and upsell pursuits. • Solution Design & Architecture – Design compliant solutions that align to CMMC and NIST 800-171 requirements, including managed services, security controls, governance processes, and implementation approaches. • Discovery & Requirements Translation – Lead or support discovery sessions to understand prospect environments, risks, constraints, and compliance gaps; translate findings into clear solution scope and recommended service packages. • Compliance-Driven Scoping – Define deliverables, assumptions, dependencies, and boundaries that make solutions executable by delivery teams while meeting compliance objectives. • Proposal & SOW Contribution – Produce and/or contribute to statements of work, technical proposals, solution diagrams, and compliance narratives; ensure accuracy and consistency between what is sold and what can be delivered. • Technical Sales Enablement – Present solutions to technical and executive stakeholders; support product/service positioning, differentiation, and objection handling (security, compliance, architecture, cost, and feasibility). • Internal Alignment – Collaborate with service delivery, compliance, and operations teams to validate feasibility, estimate effort, and reduce sales-to-delivery friction.

• Be responsible for designing and optimizing cloud solutions, leading transformations, and owning technical delivery • Work directly with client stakeholders to understand business and technical objectives • Design cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP • Translate complex technical challenges into clear solution roadmaps • Identify opportunities to improve scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency • Lead cloud cost optimization initiatives across enterprise environments • Analyze usage patterns, architecture design, and infrastructure configuration to reduce waste • Serve as the technical authority for cloud architecture engagements • Guide engineering teams on architecture patterns, infrastructure design, and delivery practices • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with best practices • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences • Mentor engineers and junior architects • Share knowledge and establish internal best practices across engagements

• The Senior Director, Technical Solutions, will work with the assigned project advocates and leads on the overall delivery of education software. • Understand all education technology needs, manage/balance requests and requirements across these platforms. • Ensure updates and delivery are within scope, schedule, and budget. • Work across the education team, JA USA departments, and JA Areas to ensure the creation and maintenance of solutions are the best for the user. • Address the challenges of a changing market. • Work closely with vendors and JA stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of these solutions, updates, enhancements, and issues. • Use expertise in software delivery to work with various teams to test and deploy the solutions.

Qualifications Qualifications & Minimum Requirements - Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical field. - 8 years of experience working with computer tools, development, and architecture-related activities - 6 years of experience architecting and designing complex applications. - Experience in applying business process automation, decision models, machine learning, cloud design/development, ELTs, various databases, and middleware solutions. - Experience delivering architecture documents on solution technical design, application design, integration, non-functional requirements, and deployment approach. - Working knowledge of Web Services, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, and interface design. - Must be well versed in the hosting technology landscape including compute, storage, backup, network, security, DR, DevOps, and IT governance. - May work remotely 100% from a home office location anywhere in the U.S. Travel to Goodlettsville, Tennessee is not required.
