Insurance Sales Representative
One80 Intermediaries
• Generate agency leads and proactively seek out new appointments and new business opportunities by utilizing various methods such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending industry events • Conduct thorough assessments and needs analysis to understand potential agents' insurance needs for personal and commercial lines • Educate agents on insurance carrier product options, policy features, and coverage forms to help them make informed decisions • Prepare and deliver personalized insurance proposals and presentations tailored to meet the unique needs of prospective agents • Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing agents to promote client retention and identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of proven sales experience
- Experience within the insurance industry
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including some overnight
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with agents and build strong relationships
- Ability to effectively explain insurance products in a clear and concise manner
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets while consistently exceeding customer expectations
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to successfully close sales deals
