Project Manager, Hydrogen Systems is responsible to lead Plug Power’s teams in planning, organizing, supervising, directing and completing all aspects of the execution process for hydrogen fueling infrastructure at customer locations. Core Duties and Responsibilities - Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of Plug Power products and related hydrogen infrastructure system designs and functionality. - Work as subject matter expert to manage all facets of hydrogen system installations at customer sites. - Development, and deployment of Project schedules and budgets with strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines. - Strong problem-solving ability is needed with the ability to manage multiple tasks. - Coordinate the activities of all parties involved with hydrogen system deployments including: industrial gas companies, permitting team(s), design team(s), construction team(s) as well as external contractors as needed. - Collaborate with internal project teams as necessary for hydrogen deployments; be proactive in alignment of efforts to achieve project timetables. - Provide guidance and technical expertise on project sites as required; set expectations for suppliers and contractors in alignment with Plug Power standards. - Help to manage project schedules and resolve problems as necessary to deliver on end-customer expectations. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders, clients, team members and upper management, to keep everyone informed and engaged. Will assign specific budgets to the design, permitting and construction teams and will ensure that these are maintained. - Shall gain approved extra work authorizations and extensions of time as needed to ensure that budgets and schedules are not adversely affected without justification and cause. - Shall ensure that documentation is obtained for all project variances from each internal team. - Shall be responsible to ensure that all closeout documents and invoices are obtained from all parties prior to closing out the project and work order.
