Federal Accreditation and Compliance Support Nurse – DHA CQM Program

• Provide extensive knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation standards in application and assessment of compliance. • Provide working knowledge of TJC tools. • Provide experience as a Certified Joint Commission Professional (CJCP). • Able to apply experience from working in corporate HQ, large medical systems, or with MHS or DHA. • Communicate and collaborate with all levels of staff. • Provide excellent coaching/mentoring skills. • Provide a weekly Accreditation and Compliance project status report to be included in the CQM Weekly Performance report. • Follow all statutes, Department of Defense Instructions (DoDI’s), and DHA policies and procedures pertaining to the CQM program, training requirements, standards of conduct as established by the DHA Director. and program reporting protocols. • Perform other duties as required.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 10 years combined clinical and administrative healthcare experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accreditation and compliance at a large healthcare system, corporate healthcare or HQ.
- Must have experience supporting the MHS/DHA.
- Experience in Corporate, HQ or large medical system preferred.
- Effectively communicate at various levels within the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust or equivalent DHA security clearance and customer approval.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing.
- An Associate’s degree in nursing with significant directly related experience may be considered.
- Registered Nurse with the ability to maintain current, unencumbered Registered Nurse licensure.
- Must be a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and/or Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM). This is mandatory.

Role Description The Medicare Compliance Officer (MCO) is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the compliance program for Medicare Advantage (Part C) and Medicare Part D activities for Mercy Care Plan, managed by Aetna, a CVS Company. This role ensures adherence to all applicable federal and state regulations and CMS requirements, safeguarding the integrity and compliance of Plan operations. - Maintain day-to-day operational alignment with the Mercy Care Medicare team. - Hold direct reporting accountability to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Audit and Compliance Committee of the Mercy Care Plan Board of Directors. - Provide formal reports to the Board of Directors, CEO, and Compliance Committee at least quarterly, detailing the status of Mercy Care Plan’s Medicare Compliance Program implementation, identification and resolution of compliance issues, and oversight and audit activities. - Oversee the development and administration of the Board of Directors’ annual Code of Conduct and compliance training program. - Develop and implement programs that promote a culture of integrity by encouraging reporting of suspected fraud, waste, abuse, or other misconduct. - Respond promptly to reports of potential Medicare fraud, waste, or abuse (FWA), including coordinating internal investigations and developing corrective or disciplinary actions. - Maintain the FWA reporting mechanism and collaborate with the Internal Audit Department and the Special Investigations Unit (SIU). - Design and manage internal investigations and implement resulting corrective measures. - Coordinate with the Plan’s Human Resources department to ensure thorough screening of the DHHS OIG and GSA exclusion lists for all employees and contracted entities. Qualifications - Bachelors or an equivalent combination of directly related work experience and/or education. - Five (5) years of experience in Medicare compliance program development, operation, and administration. Requirements - Registered Nurse: AZ (preferred). - Strong business acumen and healthcare industry knowledge.
• Architect of Regulatory Credibility • Lead the SEC registration process as a private fund adviser (Form ADV Part 1A, 1B, and Part 2 Adviser Brochure) and manage ongoing compliance. • Design and implement written compliance policies covering portfolio management, conflicts of interest, fiduciary duties, custody oversight, and AML/KYC frameworks. • Conduct annual compliance reviews and testing; prepare SEC examination responses and handle any regulatory inquiries. • Stay current with evolving SEC private fund rules (Reg PF, current enforcement priorities) and translate them into practical Infra One policies. • Define staffing, systems, and office infrastructure requirements to meet SEC expectations for "adequate" organizational substance (not formulaic, but credible). • Establish procedures for monitoring sub-advised GPs and ensuring they comply with fund mandates and risk limits. • Oversee books and records management (6-year retention, email preservation, trade capture, decision logs) and coordinate with IT on cybersecurity compliance. • Design and oversee compliance monitoring across Infra One's portfolio of funds (each with its own structure and GP).
