• Lead the design and implementation of rich, user-facing interactions that blend traditional data-heavy workflow software interfaces with agentic experiences, including chat-, notification, and voice-driven interactions. • Partner closely with product managers and designers to shape end-to-end user journeys, from early concepts and prototypes through production-ready experiences. • Help us get to the point: translate complex, data-heavy workflows into intuitive interfaces across our web and mobile apps that bring users the precise information and capabilities they need at the time they need them. • Build and iterate on UI and underlying software architectures that support dynamic, stateful interactions with AI-powered systems, while remaining robust, debuggable, and maintainable. • Build across the stack, and collaborate with other engineers to integrate agentic capabilities into real product surfaces, ensuring tight feedback loops between user intent, system behavior, and UI. • Up-level the organization’s ability to quickly experiment and bring high-impact interactions to users: help designers lean more into building, and engineers lean more into designing. Help design and build a system that gives everyone at AcuityMD the ability to improve our AI products. • Own the lifecycle of user-facing features—from prototyping and usability testing through launch, monitoring, and iteration—always grounded in real user needs. • Stay current on emerging patterns in human–computer interaction, AI-driven UX, and modern front-end development, and bring those ideas thoughtfully into production.

• Architect, design, and review complex software systems and frameworks for scalability, performance, and reliability. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across multiple teams and geographies. • Define and implement long-term product and system architecture strategies, including telemetry, observability, and monitoring solutions. • Develop and guide implementation of CLI tools, REST APIs, and automation frameworks for internal and external use. • Own the design and integration of telemetry and monitoring pipelines (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, custom agents). • Collaborate with product management and engineering managers to translate requirements into technical roadmaps and architecture designs. • Oversee and review code quality, testing practices, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent). • Lead complex debugging and performance tuning efforts in distributed and storage systems. • Represent the team in cross-functional technical discussions with customers, partners, and executive stakeholders. • Contribute to and validate technical documentation and architectural design documents.

• Serve as the technical authority for multiple core product areas, ensuring all architectural decisions directly support the business objectives for those areas. • Establish and maintain organization-wide technical standards, architectural patterns, and coding best practices to ensure consistency, security, performance, and maintainability across all teams. • Support decision making by providing expert architectural guidance and data-driven recommendations to leadership and engineering teams, facilitating timely and sound technical decisions. • Directly mentor, guide, and lead the technical direction of the Tech Leads and senior engineers within the domains, fostering a high-performance engineering culture. • Oversee and approve key design documents and high-level architectural proposals, ensuring they adhere to organizational standards and the own building and maintaining a long-term architectural roadmap. • Act as an escalation point for complex technical challenges, actively supporting teams in overcoming significant architectural hurdles or design issues. • Define and communicate the overall architectural vision and strategy to engineering teams, helping them understand how their individual contributions connect to the broader product and business goals. • Regularly report progress, risks, and technical insights related to the architectural roadmap to executive and product leadership.

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-availability cloud infrastructure for Twilio’s microservices. • Operate and maintain highly available services handling billions of weekly requests. • Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ensuring operational best practices. • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure uptime of services through on-call rotations and incident response. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile ceremonies to drive technical excellence. • Continuously improve cloud-based services, focusing on reliability, performance, and scalability. • Research and improve the design and implementation of Twilio’s API infrastructure regularly.
