The Senior Financial Analyst is an expert on market elements that impact Affordable Multifamily Commercial Real Estate and performs in-depth financial analysis to evaluate Affordable Multifamily Commercial Real Estate assets. The Senior Financial Analyst will help the Investment Sales Advisors with financial analysis, research, and the preparation of market data to be utilized in client-facing documents and presentations. We Innovate to shape the future of CRE, so in this role you will: - Own the process to breakdown and analyze P&L statements and rent rolls to provide strategic insights and recommendations. - Analyze and interpret complex Regulatory Agreements - Utilize and maintain databases which track investment sales activity, construction pipeline, and other relevant real estate metrics. - Lead in creating the presentation of complex financial analyses providing strategic advice and actionable insights to clients. - Will occasionally present and support analyses to clients. - Review industry surveys and benchmarks, economic and demographic trends to identify opportunities and risks for clients. - Active research, writing, and proofing of market intelligence for marketing materials. - Prepare and present the results of the analysis, including graphics and charts, in a clear and concise manner. - Exhibit strong leadership in prioritizing tasks, managing multiple assignments, and adapting to rapidly changing priorities in a team environment. - Utilize market intelligence to craft the story for the deal. - Other duties as assigned. • Own the month-end and year-end close processes across multiple international entities • Prepare accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, journals, and supporting schedules • Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, policies, and procedures • Support tax compliance activities, including sales tax, VAT, GST, payroll taxes, and income tax reporting across multiple jurisdictions • Coordinate with external advisors and tax authorities to support ongoing compliance requirements • Support the preparation of consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for the Group • Own the coordination and delivery of the Group's consolidated annual audit, including managing audit requirements across US, UK, and Australian entities and acting as the primary finance contact for external auditors • Prepare and manage lender reporting packages, covenant calculations, compliance certificates, and related reporting obligations associated with financing facilities • Coordinate payroll activities and ensure accurate processing, reporting, and compliance across relevant jurisdictions • Support investor reporting and related deliverables within a private equity-backed environment • Support revenue recognition processes and technical accounting reviews • Support treasury, cash management, and foreign exchange activities • Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and transfer pricing support activities • Work closely with the CFO, Finance Director, FP&A Manager, and wider finance team to support international finance operations and reporting • Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, systems, and reporting efficiencies • Support business growth initiatives, acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic finance projects as required
