Senior Solution Engineer

XTEL

• Drive enterprise deals with sales, deliver demos, and showcase XTEL’s platform • Blend tech and strategy to unlock client growth and ensure seamless project delivery • Own the technical pre-sales process, work closely with sales representatives to strategize and win complex enterprise deals • Engage in discovery sessions, solution design, and pre-sales workshops, while delivering compelling demonstrations and articulating the strategic vision and value of XTEL’s solutions to executive audiences • Ensure a seamless transition to the delivery team after deals are closed, contributing in the background to guarantee successful implementations and rapid time-to-value for new customers • Develop deep expertise in customer use cases, XTEL’s SaaS solutions, and the value we deliver to clients • Partner with sales representatives to qualify opportunities, sell consultatively, and align customer business needs with XTEL’s product capabilities to secure 6- and 7-figure enterprise deals • Deliver tailored presentations, demonstrations, and proposals that align with customer goals and differentiate XTEL in competitive sales situations • Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored responses and align on pre-qualification strategies • Scope, execute, and deliver impactful POVs that demonstrate XTEL’s value, win customer confidence, and move deals forward • Address and resolve technical challenges during the sales process, including data integration, API connections, reporting, and analytics • Partner with Professional Services for scoping, delivery teams for implementation, and Product Management to provide feedback on features and strategy • Support trade shows, conferences, and other events to showcase XTEL’s solutions and build market presence • Identify and recommend improvements to strengthen the pre-sales process and the overall effectiveness of the team

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in supporting and influencing the closure of SaaS deals, ideally within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector
  • Strong background in enterprise architecture, data management, and analytics
  • Experience with large-scale data sets, relational modeling, and tools like Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Data Lakes is highly desirable
  • Skilled at engaging stakeholders across all levels, including C-suite executives, and delivering tailored, high-impact presentations, workshops, and demos
  • Ability to uncover customer needs, align them with XTEL’s solutions, and position yourself as a trusted advisor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
  • Proven ability to work across teams and drive towards shared goals in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Background in software development, data engineering, or delivering complex software projects is a plus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, as needed to meet business and client demands
