Job Description: We are looking for a Remote SEO Strategist who has a comprehensive understanding of full-stack SEO, with a strong focus on content, keywords, and SEO strategy. This role is perfect for a motivated individual who is both a leader and a team player, capable of building our SEO department in the long term. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in performing SEO audits, automatic analysis and driving lead generation, and ranking improvements. Key Responsibilities - SEO Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive SEO strategies, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO to boost website visibility, traffic, and conversions. - Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to create and optimize content that aligns with SEO best practices, targeting relevant keywords and improving user engagement. - Keyword Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify opportunities and ensure our content is optimized for high-traffic, high-conversion terms. - SEO Audits & Analysis: Perform regular SEO audits and automatic analysis of the website to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to best practices. - Lead Generation & Ranking Improvement: Develop and execute strategies to increase lead generation and improve search engine rankings. - Team Leadership: Play a pivotal role in building and scaling the SEO department, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members while also being willing to follow established processes and guidelines. - Performance Monitoring: Use various analytics tools to monitor and report on the performance of SEO efforts, making data-driven decisions to continually improve outcomes. - Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure SEO objectives are met at a timely manner. - Project management: Conceptualize and effectively coordinate SEO projects with partner agencies and leadership teams. • Execute SEO content initiatives for the German market across multiple verticals, including iGaming, online casino, and sports betting. • Own the end-to-end content production process: briefing, reviewing, editing, and publishing high-quality SEO content. • Build and manage a network of German-language freelance writers to ensure a consistent flow of content. • Work closely with SEO Managers to implement SEO recommendations and ensure content meets performance and quality standards. • Review, edit, and proofread content with a strong focus on clarity, structure, tone, and user value. • Provide clear, actionable feedback to freelancers to continuously improve content quality. • Coordinate timelines and deliverables with freelancers and internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met. • Act as a strong quality gatekeeper, ensuring all published content aligns with brand, product, and SEO requirements.

• Perform full technical SEO audits: site speed, indexing, crawlability, schema, internal linking, mobile optimisation • Implement technical fixes independently (HTML/CSS familiarity required; no dev support) • Optimise on-page elements: meta titles/descriptions, headers, keyword placement, URL structure • Apply basic on-page SEO setup at every launch (speed, metadata, structure) • Write or optimise blog posts, landing pages, and service pages aligned to search intent • Execute local SEO strategies for regional Australian markets (small towns across multiple states) • Manage e-commerce SEO alongside standard organic campaigns (Shopify/WordPress experience preferred) • Track keyword rankings (primary/secondary) and prepare monthly performance reports with actionable insights • Stay current with Google algorithm updates and AI search developments (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews)
