Risk Modeling Lead, AI Generation Engine

• Own and execute the multi-year technical roadmap for risk modeling, translating advanced simulation and statistical methods into production-grade analytics. • Define rigorous modeling methodologies, including assumptions, calibration, sensitivity analysis, and documentation suitable for external stakeholder and rating agency review. • Serve as the primary technical lead for executive briefings and deep-dive workshops, helping stakeholders operationalize model outputs. • Partner directly with Product and Engineering teams to integrate research prototypes and custom modeling solutions into cloud-hosted simulation platforms. • Drive go-to-market initiatives by articulating complex model differentiation, appropriate use cases, and limitations during RFPs and technical demos.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building, validating, and deploying probabilistic risk models across natural catastrophes and cyber events.
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or a similarly rigorous computational field.
- Proven expertise in Monte Carlo simulations, multi-parameter probability distribution models, and frequency-severity modeling.
- Deep technical command of major catastrophe modeling platforms, including RMS (RiskLink), AIR (TouchStone), and KCC (RiskInsight).
- Demonstrated ability to translate highly technical simulation results for CRO/CUO audiences and senior management.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience in financial simulation, risk modeling, or high-dimensional technical data analysis.
- Experience developing niche Catastrophe Models for complex perils, such as climate-change-driven hurricane projections, flood, wildfire, or severe convective storm models.
