Traveling Construction Project Engineer
BRPH
• Plan, direct, or coordinate activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems. • Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, implementation and completion. • Support the Project Manager with the daily technical activities required to plan and successfully execute the construction project requirements. • Manage job controls to ensure compliance with technical requirements, contracts, budget, schedule, and BIM coordination. • Provide technical support in construction planning, quality control, interpretation of design, application of construction methods, resolution and documentation of design conflicts, and constructability reviews to ensure successful project completion. • Prepare daily logs, project technical design submittals, necessary reports, and documenting inspection and testing results. • Monitor daily progress of craft and trade subcontractors to ensure compliance with technical and contract requirements. • Respond to subcontractor RFIs by reviewing and understanding the technical requirements and coordinating with the engineer of record as necessary. • Review construction subcontractor’s implementation plans, including a project management plan, procurement plan, safety plan, quality plan, and general means and methods to identify any risks in the plans. • Assist the Project Manager with the planning of the assigned projects, including establishing the baseline cost, baseline schedule, and cash flow. • Assist the Project Manager with subcontracting strategy, subcontractor development, estimating, buyout, and change management actions. • Assist the Project Manager in the creation and management of the project risk register to identify and mitigate potential risks to the project. • Manage the project master schedule planning and implement daily activities and support the management of three-week look-ahead schedules. • Lead in securing the necessary permits, environmental approvals, and licenses. • Lead a strong safety and quality program on the project. • Lead the commissioning, closeout, and turnover process.
Job Requirements
- BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or a similar degree.
- Experience with Procore or similar management software is a plus.
- TAKT planning experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, and the ability to work well with clients.
- Technical and application knowledge of the built environment infrastructure, including buildings and infrastructure.
- Must have experience in the construction industry.
- Understanding of project estimating and scheduling techniques.

CTG is seeking to fill an ADMS Switching Lead (AspenTech SOM) position for our client. Location: RemoteDuration: 11 months Duties: - Serve as the ADMS Switching Lead with deep expertise in AspenTech Switching Order Management (SOM) - Configure and support ADMS switching modules including planned switching, isolation, and service restoration workflows - Translate utility business requirements into functional ADMS workflows and system configurations - Lead integration efforts across ADMS, OMS, GIS, EMS, and EITK platforms - Execute and validate switching use cases including normal operations, outage response, and storm scenarios - Perform system validation and testing of switching logic, network models, and sequencing accuracy - Ensure model integrity by collaborating with engineering and GIS teams for accurate network representation - Align all switching configurations and workflows with utility safety standards and operational protocols - Troubleshoot integration and operational issues across IT and utility operations environments - Provide operator support including training, documentation, and knowledge transfer for ADMS functionality Skills: - Strong expertise in AspenTech ADMS, specifically Switching Order Management (SOM) - In-depth knowledge of utility distribution operations, switching procedures, and safety practices - Proven experience with system integrations (ADMS, OMS, GIS, EMS, EITK) - Ability to translate business requirements into technical workflows and system configurations - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across cross-functional environments - Experience with ADMS testing, validation, and deployment processes - Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills Experience: - Minimum 5+ years of utility industry experience with a focus on distribution operations and switching - Hands-on experience implementing or supporting ADMS platforms, preferably AspenTech - Demonstrated experience leading switching configuration and validation activities - Experience working in cross-functional teams spanning IT and operational technology (OT) Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
