Environmental Permitting Specialist – Natural Resource Scientist
AECOM
• support Energy Projects (electric energy transmission, generation and renewables) • state and private sector infrastructure improvement programs • federal projects • prepare permit applications within Massachusetts Environmental Regulatory Programs • some wetland/wildlife field ecology is also part of this role
Job Requirements
- BA / BS in Ecology, Environmental Science, Biology or related field
- +6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education
- Valid Driver’s License
- must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review
- US Citizenship is required
- Environmental Permitting experience required
- Wetlands experience in Massachusetts required
- Strong writing skills and the ability to draft environmental permitting applications required
- GIS skills and strong computer skills needed
- Additional background in other New England Environmental Regulatory Programs desired.
