Environmental Permitting Specialist – Natural Resource Scientist

AECOM

• support Energy Projects (electric energy transmission, generation and renewables) • state and private sector infrastructure improvement programs • federal projects • prepare permit applications within Massachusetts Environmental Regulatory Programs • some wetland/wildlife field ecology is also part of this role

Job Requirements

  • BA / BS in Ecology, Environmental Science, Biology or related field
  • +6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Environmental Permitting experience required
  • Wetlands experience in Massachusetts required
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to draft environmental permitting applications required
  • GIS skills and strong computer skills needed
  • Additional background in other New England Environmental Regulatory Programs desired.
