Environmental Permitting Specialist – Natural Resource Scientist

AECOM

• Support Energy Projects (electric energy transmission, generation and renewables) • Support state and private sector infrastructure improvement programs • Support federal projects • Prepare permit applications within Massachusetts Environmental Regulatory Programs • Conduct wetland/wildlife field ecology as part of the role

Job Requirements

  • BA / BS in Ecology, Environmental Science, Biology or related field
  • +6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Environmental Permitting experience required
  • Wetlands experience in Massachusetts required
  • Strong writing skills
  • Ability to draft environmental permitting applications required
  • GIS skills
  • Strong computer skills needed
  • Additional background in other New England Environmental Regulatory Programs desired
