What this role is about: As an Implementation Engineer, you will own the full technical lifecycle of our B2B partner integrations — from onboarding through long-term operational success. At RapidSOS, these integrations are mission-critical, helping ensure life-saving data reliably reaches emergency responders when it matters most. You’ll lead partners through implementation while also supporting the long-term health, reliability, and evolution of those integrations over time. You’ll serve as a technical lead and trusted partner to customer engineering teams, developing deep expertise in RapidSOS’s ingress APIs and integration ecosystem. This includes guiding partners on best practices, staying current on new capabilities and releases, and proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen and scale integrations as partner needs grow. What you’ll do: - Serve as the primary technical point of contact for B2B partners across onboarding and ongoing account management - Own launch timelines and technical implementation plans for new integrations - Design and advise on end-to-end workflows, integration logic, and scalable technical architectures - Partner with Customer Success to monitor post-live health, performance, and operational stability of strategic accounts - Proactively identify risks, integration gaps, or optimization opportunities and drive resolution - Troubleshoot complex API and integration issues across distributed systems - Work cross-functionally with operations, product, engineering, sales engineering, and account management to align technical execution with business outcomes - Support international business development teams in implementing and scaling solutions efficiently - Provide project management oversight and structured feedback to Engineering on new product features impacting partners What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate: - 3+ years of experience as an Implementation Engineer, Integrations Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Solutions Architect, or Technical Project/Program Manager working directly with customers - Proficiency with Python, and is using AI tools to enhance acceleration of development & proactive about leveraging emerging technologies - Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, conditional logic, and system integrations - Demonstrated success managing external technical stakeholders and improving the efficiency, reliability, or scalability of software integrations - Experience supporting customer environments post go-live and maintaining operational health of live integrations - Familiarity with customer support and ticketing workflows (Zendesk, Jira, or similar tools) - Track record of managing multiple clients and concurrent technical initiatives with clear prioritization - Strong communication skills with both technical and executive stakeholders - Comfort operating in a high-growth environment where priorities shift quickly - Self-motivated, data-driven, solutions-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership - Willingness to both collaborate cross-functionally and independently drive initiatives - Ability and willingness to work a full-time schedule that includes weekend days (Saturday and Sunday), travel a few days per quarter for internal team gatherings, and participate in a weekly on-call rotation Nice-to-have experience (but not required!): - Familiarity with Git What we offer: - The chance to work with a passionate team on solving one of the largest challenges globally - Competitive salary and benefits and equity participation - A dynamic, flexible and fun start-up work environment with a highly talented team If you're curious to learn more about RapidSOS, you can check out https://rapidsos.com/blog/ Starting pay for a successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include experience, relevant skills, training, education, location, business needs, or market demands. This individual will play a hands-on role in office transitions—such as TIN changes, system migrations, or acquisition integrations—by identifying claims or balances that require corrective action and following through to completion. In addition to project work, the RCM Project Specialist will assist with ticket resolution and general billing responsibilities, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all processes. This role requires a strong background in dental billing, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Responsibilities - Execute assigned RCM projects including but not limited to: TIN change claim corrections, mass insurance plan reattachments, ledger clean-up audits, and balance reconciliation. - Identify and track accounts impacted by migration errors or structural changes in the PMS or payor setup. - Submit corrected claims with proper documentation and follow up to ensure payment is received. - Partner with the Implementation and Payer Relations teams during migrations to provide RCM-related cleanup support. - Respond to ticket inquiries and assist with escalated billing issues as needed. - Monitor and resolve insurance and patient A/R, including denials and delayed payments. - Navigate payer portals to download EOBs and post insurance payments accurately. - Review and document insurance correspondence and submit required attachments and narratives. - Assist in updating SOPs as projects uncover process improvement opportunities. - Collaborate cross-functionally to improve system workflows and clean-up strategies. - Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations. Qualifications - 3+ years of dental billing or revenue cycle experience; experience with special projects or office transitions preferred. - Strong understanding of dental/ortho billing, CDT codes, and claims submission requirements. - Experience with Denticon and/or Cloud 9 preferred - Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
