Job Description

Business Development – Internship

Communication Service for the Deaf (CSD)

• Identifying potential clients and preparing outreach efforts • Learning about the various aspects of business development, including market research, customer outreach, sales, and partnership building • Filtering company lists to target ideal customer profiles • Running searches for appropriate contact persons in targeted accounts • Assisting with outbound campaign preparations • Supporting the Business Development team with any research and information-gathering • Participating in meetings and providing valuable input to improve strategies and tactics • Keeping important information updated and sharing findings with the team weekly • Collaborating closely with other team members to plan, coordinate, and execute strategies that align with overall business development initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Proof of current enrollment in a four-year college degree program in Business, Marketing, Project Management, or a similar field, OR more than 2 years of experience working as an administrative assistant with a strong interest in project management to ensure alignment of internship program to coursework
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively using American Sign Language
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
  • Ability to effectively contribute and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented work environment.
