• Work with internal and external business, product, and engineering stakeholders to understand BI and analytics needs and priorities. • Collaborate with the data engineering team, engineers, product team, and business stakeholders to understand data sources and develop data pipelines to transform raw data to clean & aggregated data, culminating in the development of BI solutions. • Explore the data with visualization tools and statistical techniques, analyzing KPIs to understand trends, glean insights, and present these findings to stakeholders at various levels. • Work on business analytics projects incorporating predictive and prescriptive analytics to find valuable insights from data and help drive business decisions (e.g., analysis of consumers moving from MVNO to MNO accounts).
Job Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or another technical field.
- 3-5 years of quantitative analysis work experience (experience in the Wireless/Telecom/ISP space would be considered a strong asset).
- 3-5 years experience handling, manipulating and analyzing data and creating analytical reports.
- Strong expertise with SQL, as well with database structures and data lake architectures (Snowflake experience would be an asset, but not required).
- Expertise in developing business intelligence solutions in Looker or other top BI software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Suite.
