As a Senior Energy Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting residential customers, contractors, and community stakeholders by providing expert technical guidance, energy‑efficiency education, and high‑quality advising services. You will act as a trusted independent resource for property owners, renters, and contractors seeking support with energy‑related decisions. Senior Energy Advisors combine technical expertise, sales and consultative skills, and exceptional customer service to help customers identify the right energy‑efficiency upgrades, navigate incentives, and pursue deeper savings over time. You will also contribute to program improvement efforts by offering real‑time feedback, supporting data‑driven insights, and maintaining detailed tracking of customer interactions. Key Responsibilities Include: Program & Team Leadership - Serve as a team lead by mentoring, training, and supporting Energy Advisors. - Share subject‑matter expertise and provide workflow guidance to ensure consistent delivery across programs. - Support multiple programs and maintain readiness to absorb coverage needs when teammates are out. - Assist in strategic problem‑solving by identifying customer or contractor barriers and recommending enhancements. - Lead or support reporting efforts, including data review, interpretation, and actionable insight generation for program managers. Customer Advising & Technical Support - Provide high‑quality advising to property owners through phone‑based consultations (primary) and field‑based support (as needed). - Review customer energy bills, identify consumption patterns, and explain factors contributing to changes in energy use. - Conduct customer intake, including eligibility screening, account setup, and interviews. - Deliver initial consultations explaining program offerings, benefits, and required documentation. - Educate customers on: - Energy‑efficiency upgrades - Behavioral change opportunities - Building‑science fundamentals (insulation, ductwork, appliances, HVAC performance, etc.) - Energy assessment reports (when available) - Walk customers through contractor estimate review, scheduling, and project coordination. - Provide clear guidance on available rebates, incentives, and financing options, assisting with form completion as needed. - Support homeowners with any historic‑preservation requirements when applicable. Contractor Engagement & Program Support - Provide individualized assistance to contractors, including onboarding, lead generation, scheduling, and program requirement guidance. - Identify areas for contractor improvement and share resources to support their success. - Assist in program recruitment and outreach activities when needed. - Represent CLEAResult with professionalism during community events, educational workshops, or marketing activities. Operational Excellence & QA - Track all customer, contractor, and project activity in data‑management systems with accuracy and completeness. - Follow reporting and documentation requirements established by leadership. - Support rebate processing, including QA/QC reviews and coordination of field verification visits. - Ensure consistent, timely follow‑up with all stakeholders. - Execute all Energy Advisor workflows accurately and efficiently. - Plan, coordinate, and complete tasks in a timely and organized manner. About the Role The Retirement Plan Consultant will provide objective guidance that is aligned with the needs of plan sponsors and employees eligible for the applicable retirement savings plan.
