Key Expectations - Provide expertise in the Workday HCM suite with a focus on Learning. - Lead or coach others to successfully: - Gather and document client business requirements. - Design and configure the Workday solution. - Demonstrate configurations through the development of prototype systems. - Assist in testing the Workday solution. - Complete knowledge transfer to clients. - Work with confidential client/data conversion team to help convert legacy data into Workday. - Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions. - Mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model as well as coach others on product knowledge. - Resolve complex tasks/requirements when other team members need support. - Collaborate and communicate effectively on team-based projects. - Facilitate clients’ intellectual and practical adoption of Workday best practices. - Maintain clients’ ongoing satisfaction, ensuring Intecrowd is reputable and referenceable once in production. - Provide regular status reports to the project managers keeping them apprised of overall project status. - Innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively. - Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications. - Ensure functional solutions are compatible with downstream data translation. - Demonstrate computational thinking by identifying problem components, analyzing patterns, removing inefficient configurations or processes, and constructing algorithmic solutions scalable to ongoing client needs. - Contribute to and mold a culture of continuous education among your colleagues, mentees, and managers. - Provide insightful status reports to project managers that highlight risks to project health and improvements in client adoption. Qualifications - Current Workday Partner HCM Certification plus at least one other of the following HCM solutions: Learning. - 2 - 4+ years of WD configuration and implementation experience. - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. - Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company. - Previous experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate or similar applications. - Demonstrated project management experience. - Functional human resources experience. - Passion for providing exceptional customer service. - Ability to effectively manage against timelines and goals. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities. - Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training. - Experience deploying multiple HCM projects simultaneously a plus. - Expected travel is +/-20% depending on project. Role Description The Workday Financials Solution Architect is a strategic and client-facing role with deep domain, product, industry and/or solution area expertise. The Solution Architect collaborates with Sales through all stages of the sales process to: - Develop product solutions scope and proposals - Produce client-tailored sales meeting materials - Conduct solutions demonstrations as needed - Lead the hand-off to the delivery team(s) In addition, the Solution Architect is responsible for staying current on market, industry and Workday trends and feedback. The Solution Architect will act as a trusted adviser to prospects and customers and provide consultation on product capability and value. This remote role can be located anywhere within Australia or New Zealand. Responsibilities - Prep (configure), conduct and lead effective Workday solution demonstrations across multiple functional areas - Tailor materials and demos based on client need and competitive landscape - Create new materials where needed - Develop and deliver relevant product presentations, demonstrations, workshops and seminars to support sales or marketing - Partner with customer base account team to follow customers, understand their strategies and help them expand their Workday footprint to support that strategy - Continue to support client delivery to stay current in skills and Workday knowledge - Coordinate with product leads to ensure that latest solution developments and Workday release features are reflected in sales materials - Up to 50% travel required (thinking RUG’s, sales on sites, etc.) Domain Expertise - Maintain expertise in Workday Financials domain products and services - Collaborate with Delivery Leaders to stay connected with delivery practices and share market insights - Continue to use Workday domain expertise to support billable customer work, train consultants and support overall delivery practices Sales Process - Conduct discovery sessions and lead product solution scoping to support Statement of Work development - Facilitate client sales meetings as Subject Matter Expert - Contribute to strategic discussions by addressing key questions to define opportunities and effectively resolving customer objections - Engage in sales meetings to primarily answer functional and technical questions - Ensure maximum transparency, accuracy and knowledge transfer to delivery - Lead collaboration with other Architects for cross-functional opportunities - Support the Business Development Lifecycle by serving as product SME - Provide end to end solution and design details during the sales process - Work with client to understand requirements and architect a solution - Present solutions and Intecrowd capabilities to the customer - Support initial Intecrowd proposals while providing support throughout the proposal process - Accurately estimate effort and resources required to complete projects - Support the transition of the customer from Sales to Delivery Qualifications - Current Workday Financials Partner Certification - Multiple end to end Workday Implementations across functional or technical areas required - Professional experience in Pre-Sales / Sales Consulting preferred - Ability to work effectively under pressure while managing multiple projects with competing deadlines - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong presentation and demonstration skills in front of a technical, business and executive audience - Ability to clearly communicate features & benefits to technical and business resources Employer’s Rights Intecrowd has the right to revise this job description at any time.
