One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with strong Unanet ERP experience to support our growing government services portfolio. This role operates in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and plays a key role in month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working in Unanet, understands project-based accounting, and can operate independently while supporting the Controller and broader finance team. Staff Accountant Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and post month-end journal entries, including accruals, prepaid amortization, and fixed asset activity • Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner • Maintain prepaid expense and fixed asset schedules • Process customer payments and apply cash receipts in Unanet • Support monthly and year-end close activities • Assist with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and customer billing as needed • Support audit requests and respond to internal and external financial inquiries • Gather payroll data and ensure proper posting to projects and indirect cost pools • Collaborate cross-functionally and support special accounting and finance initiatives • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls • Proactively identify data inaccuracies and resolve issues efficiently Staff Accountant Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • 3–5 years of accounting experience in a project-based environment • Hands-on experience using Unanet ERP (required) • Strong understanding of the full accounting lifecycle and month-end close process • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Staff Accountant Preferred Experience: • Government contracting or professional services accounting • Exposure to indirect cost structures, project costing, and billing • Prior experience supporting audits or compliance reviews About One Federal Solution One Federal Solution (OFS) is an innovative professional services firm with more than 20 years of experience supporting U.S. Defense and Civilian agencies.
