Responsibilities - Identify and establish relationships with shippers and carriers to facilitate freight movement. - Negotiate rates and contracts between shippers and carriers to ensure competitive pricing and efficient service. - Manage the end-to-end freight booking process, including load tracking and timely updates. - Provide exceptional customer service by resolving issues and addressing inquiries promptly. - Develop and maintain a network of transportation providers to maximize coverage and flexibility. - Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to capitalize on new business opportunities. - Maintain accurate records of shipments, contracts, and communications for compliance and reporting purposes.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation sales is highly preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to build and maintain successful partnerships.
  • Ability to operate independently as a business owner with entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Knowledge of freight transportation modes, regulations, and industry terminology.
  • Proficiency in using transportation management systems and other logistics software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple clients and shipments simultaneously.
  • Valid business licenses and permits as required to operate as an Independent Freight Agent.

Role Description The role of Supplier Sales Executive is a telesales position within a multilingual ‘Managed Sales’ team, requiring the Enrollment Specialist to speak with supplier clients with a plan to enroll them onto one of the two Tungsten services at the request of their buyer customer (end client). Each individual is expected to carefully manage a sales portfolio (containing 100-300 suppliers) in line with strict quality guidelines.
