Strategic Account Manager About the job: The Red Hat Enterprise Sales team is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to join us in Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for retaining and growing sales within enterprise accounts within various verticals, helping our customers and partners make business and IT transformations using Red Hat services and solutions. You will gain an understanding of the customer processes, needs, and challenges while promoting the value of Red Hat’s solutions and how they can deliver value to the customers. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business. What you will do: - Work with named or large key accounts to provide product solutions, develop new business, and to ensure satisfaction, and maintain positive ongoing relationships. - Sales cycles are generally very long and involve broad high-priced systems requiring Executive approval from the Customer and the Company. - Work with other internal sales personnel to propose specific solutions for a given account or partner. - Manage revenue goals for the given account/client. Provides regular updates to senior sales/operations staff concerning account issues, financial status, etc. T - his role may come into contact with confidential or sensitive customer information requiring special treatment in accordance with Red Hat policies and applicable privacy laws. What you will bring: - Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse set of stakeholders in a matrixed organization - Solid understanding of enterprise customers within assigned territory, including customer business, industry trends, competitive landscape, and Red Hat differentiators and value proposition - Ability to articulate the value of Red Hat’s solutions, Red Hat’s differentiation, and the Red Hat opportunity to partner with sales counterparts. - Ability to cultivate long-term relationships and develop advocates across customer and partner organizations - Strategic orientation and value engineering skills to position and sell solutions to customer - Experience working with named or large key accounts to provide product solutions, develop new business, and to ensure satisfaction, and maintain positive ongoing relationships. - Sales cycles are generally very long and involve broad high-priced systems requiring Executive approval from the Customer and the Company. - Works with other internal sales personnel to propose specific solutions for a given account or partner. - Manage revenue goals for the given account/client. - Provide regular updates to senior sales/operations staff concerning account issues, financial status, etc. ​ The salary range for this position is $192,390.00 - $317,480.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications. Pay Transparency Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
