Manager, Automotive Materials Testing Services
SGS
• Establish Materials Testing Services in North America (NAM) with focus on the Automotive industry, and VOC testing by organic and acquisitive growth. • Responsibility for the strategic planning, business planning, budgeting and operational management of Automotive Materials Testing Services in the US. • Ensure operation’s conformance with SGS quality standards, operational efficiency, and adherence to the global Code of integrity and Operational Integrity guidelines. • Permanently observe NAM market for Automotive materials testing services and support regional deployment. • Support global Testing Services strategy by providing relevant market intelligence, technical support and trainings.
Job Requirements
- Significant (more than 10 years) experience in managing in a senior position related to materials testing laboratory for the Automotive industry sectors.
- Knowledge of the respective quality systems and product/components standards.
- Experience on VOC testing is a plus.
- Minimum BS. level engineering degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Fluent in English.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional working knowledge in Microsoft Office tools.
