We’re hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the CAD Applications team focused on building Dandy’s next-generation 3D design application for implant restorations. This role provides hands-on management support aligned with our distributed workforce and time zones, while driving the technical and delivery outcomes of a high-impact 3D product team. This is a product driven team managing 3D design software and viewers that drive exciting experiences for internal and external customers. This work will play a critical role in achieving our product roadmap over the next 12 months and bring some of our highest stakes research bets into full fledged production. You’ll manage and grow a team of 3D software engineers, set technical direction, and partner closely with product, fixed/removable CAD teams, and implant stakeholders to ship reliable, scalable tools that meet our cost, turnaround time, and manufacturing integration goals. What you’ll do - Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of CAD/3D engineers through 1:1s, career development, code reviews, and technical guidance - Own day-to-day execution across core CAD initiatives, with clear priorities, sprint hygiene, and predictable delivery - Drive system architecture, application design, and overall technical strategy for the 3D implant design application - Maintain strong stakeholder alignment with the Implant Product Owner and other CAD product teams - Provide clear communication and updates across engineering, product, and operations - Model high-quality engineering standards and promote a culture of robust, maintainable, high-performance code - Partner with recruiters on headcount planning, hiring, and interview processes - Lead occasional 3–6 month tiger-team initiatives when capacity allows What you’ll need to succeed - 4+ years of experience effectively managing high performing software teams to achieve ambitious product outcomes - Strong engineering fundamentals and experience shipping user-facing applications - Strong product sense and a dedication to making customer pleasing experiences - Knowledge of object oriented design principles - Experience with cross platform code - web, server and desktop applications - Comfortable defining and reviewing architecture, system design, and application design decisions - Experience working directly with recruiters to develop and drive the recruiting pipeline and processes (including interviewing) - Strong communication skills and attention to detail - Experience in profiling, debugging, and testing complex systems - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience or education Bonus expertise welcomed - Full Stack JavaScript/TypeScript - 3D / Dental Experience - Worked in a cloud-based environment (GCP, AWS, or Azure) - Experience working directly with cross functional development teams For full-time positions, Dandy offers a wide range of best-in-class, comprehensive, and inclusive benefits tailored to each country where we operate.
