People and Culture Generalist

• Manage end-to-end recruiting operations for both full-time positions and contingent hiring efforts • Develop effective recruitment strategies and identify future staffing needs • Draft and post job advertisements, coordinate communication with candidates and hiring managers, schedule interviews, and maintain the applicant tracking system (Greenhouse) • Plan onboarding and offboarding activities and perform new employees orientation to deliver an exceptional early experience • Conduct and analyze exit interviews and make actionable recommendations based on data • Process background and reference checks efficiently to ensure a thorough evaluation of potential candidates • Compose new procedures and policies to continually improve the efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole and to improve the employees’ experience • Proactively identify cultural trends and create action plans to enhance employee engagement • Consistently champion the cultivation of an environment that aligns with NovoEd’s vision for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging • Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance management programs • Assist in developing and implementing employee training & development programs • Support employees with efficient problem-solving when any human resources issues arise • Provide an effective and dedicated HR advisory service to employees in relation to leaves of absences, grievance matters, organizational change, and other employee-relations matters

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a People Partner, HR Generalist, or similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork skills; and a confident ability to offer suggestions and improvements to challenges
