The Regional Staffing Manager is responsible for developing and executing staffing strategies to ensure optimal workforce levels across multiple distribution centers within the assigned region. This role drives operational efficiency, cost control, and service-level performance through data-driven planning and collaboration with market leadership. This position is remote which means the work can e completed from anywhere in the United States except Hawaii or United States Territories. This position could also have up to 25% travel. RESPONSIBILITIES - Develop and implement strategic staffing plans for each market during regular planning cycles to align labor resources with forecasted demand, leveraging standardized workforce management tools for accuracy and consistency. - Set weekly driver and warehouse staffing targets, adjusting internal labor capacity by managing scheduled hours and accounting for unavailable time to meet fluctuating demand while optimizing cost and service levels. - Analyze workforce performance trends using dashboards and historical data to identify efficiency opportunities and cost savings, providing actionable recommendations to leadership for continuous improvement. - Facilitate recurring labor planning meetings with market leaders to review staffing forecasts, address variances, and align corrective actions using standardized reporting and collaboration tools. - Collaborate weekly with Talent Acquisition to share updated staffing targets and hiring requirements, ensuring recruitment efforts align with operational demand forecasts and minimizing labor gaps. - Escalate market staffing to plan performance and provide data for regional leadership to drive accountability. - Create reporting and documentation to support Monthly Operation Review (MOR) - Prepare performance reports against key labor metrics, including variance reason codes, to provide visibility into staffing accuracy and support continuous improvement initiatives. - Other duties as assigned by manager RELATIONSHIPS - Internal: Frequent collaboration with local and regional distribution center operations leadership, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Corporate Supply Chain Leadership, IT, Data Science, Supply Chain Network Planning - External: N/A WORK ENVIRONMENT - Remote: This role is fully remote, and the associate is expected to perform assigned responsibilities from a home-based environment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Workforce Management, or a related discipline. - Proven ability to develop project plans, lead cross-functional discussions, and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business units. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas), PowerPoint, and Word. - Experience analyzing workforce or supply chain data and presenting actionable insights to leadership. - Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Ability to prepare PowerPoint presentations and communicate to higher level leadership (Regional VP of operations, Area President, etc.) - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Travel up to 25% is required for this role. EDUCATION - Bachelor’s Degree (Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Economics, or related Business degree) or 5 years of relevant experience leading operational teams in a dynamic production environment CERTIFICATIONS/TRAINING - N/A LICENSES - N/A PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook) - Familiarity with Workforce Management systems and forecasting tools (e.g., Kronos, Blue Yonder) preferred. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Sigma, or similar platforms. - Basic proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing workforce or operational data. - Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker) and advanced Excel functions is a plus.
