Panoptyc
• Own and execute Panoptyc’s retail channel strategy across integrators, VARs, and reseller partners. • Identify and onboard new channel partners with strong footprints in retail and loss prevention. • Drive revenue through joint account planning, deal registration, co-selling, and field support/ride-alongs. • Serve as the primary SME for partners on commercials, pricing, product positioning, and competitive strategy. • Work with Sales, Product, and Marketing to align incentives, launch new offerings, and improve partner deal velocity. • Represent Panoptyc at industry events and trade shows, building long-term credibility as a strategic ally rather than just a vendor.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience selling through channel partners in retail technology, security, or enterprise tech.
- Existing relationships with national and regional integrators, VARs, and resellers.
- Deep understanding of channel sales motions, partner economics, and retail buying cycles (LP, Ops, IT, Security).
- Willing to travel as needed for partner meetings and industry-specific events.

This position is centered on coordination and client support and is not sales driven. The role is fully remote and designed for individuals who are comfortable working independently while maintaining high attention to detail. • Lead the entire sales cycle end-to-end, stepping into IC selling when necessary to drive momentum • Close both Core and Enterprise deals, owning ARR growth targets across segments • Build pipeline across new markets and customer types, helping us expand globally and regionally • Own quota design and capacity planning aligned to company-wide ARR goals and segment strategy (Core and Enterprise) • Translate annual growth targets into clear, attainable quotas, ramp expectations, and coverage models in partnership with the CCO and Finance • Regularly evaluate quota health and attainment distribution to ensure predictability, fairness, and sustained team performance • Grow a high-performing sales team (AEs, Solutions Consultants, Revenue Ops, and future sales roles) • Create clarity in roles that currently stretch into IC work, so managers and ICs can thrive as we scale • Mentor and coach sellers to improve close rates, deal velocity, and time-to-value • Partner closely with Revenue Operations to ensure CRM hygiene, reporting integrity, compensation alignment, and scalable sales processes • Build repeatable sales frameworks that balance autonomy + alignment (MEDDIC, Sandler, or proven internal methodologies you’ve successfully scaled) • Help shape our approach to new market entry, partnering with Commercial and Product • Oversee forecasting, pipeline health, and deal strategy, establishing consistent inspection cadences and leading indicators that enable confident revenue planning • Partner closely with CCO, Product, and Customer Success to ensure launches and customer needs convert into revenue • Lead with empathy when navigating team overlaps and ambiguity • Keep the mission visible in sales motion, tying product value to clinical outcomes + business impact
• Lead sales and client service initiatives for William Blair’s Investment Management strategies across the intermediary channel in DC, Maryland and Virginia • Advise management of competitive landscape and client base trends and collaborate with the Head of Intermediary Distribution to set sales goals and objectives • Maintain extensive visibility and contacts outside of William Blair and foster relationships with key financial intermediaries to convey accurate, up-to-date knowledge of William Blair Investment Management products and their associated benefits • Generate sales through the direct calling program, utilizing strong networking and negotiation skills to close the sale of investment • Develop and maintain deep expertise of all investments and serve as a technical resource to others • Cultivate and leverage relationships within William Blair that can help surface leads or provide endorsements with target clients • Guide and mentor Regional Associates and Regional Directors on identifying and expanding sales opportunities • Create, maintain and deliver client presentations which highlight investment management products and the advantages of William Blair • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of client meetings and calling activity to ensure appropriate level of contact and follow-up, and assess success rates and opportunities for improvement • Additional responsibilities as requested.
