We are looking for a Principal, Strategic Accounts, to be responsible for building and maintaining relationships within Enterprise accounts. This person will be responsible for identifying their needs and offering effective solutions that meet their requirements. At DNSFilter, you will: - Target our top-tier Enterprise accounts. - Drive revenue growth through prospecting, qualifying, and closing new logos. - Demonstrate strategic thinking, analysis, and insights to cultivate an account planning strategy to achieve sales goals, both with new logo acquisition and existing logos. - Effective outbound pipeline management and forecasting. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within customer accounts. - Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet sales targets and increase revenue. - Uncover customer needs and business challenges to position DNSFilter solutions effectively. - Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring customer satisfaction. - Lead product demonstrations and presentations, utilizing deep product knowledge and industry expertise. - Manage contract negotiations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. - Lead renewals and expansion for assigned Strategic and Major accounts by developing deep, multi-threaded relationships and uncovering upsell and cross-sell opportunities that increase long-term customer value. - Collaborate with internal teams, such as operations, marketing, and customer support to align efforts and achieve goals. - Share market insights and customer feedback to contribute to product/service enhancements. - Travel to customer, partner, and industry events as needed. To qualify for this role, you have: - 8+ years of experience in full-cycle B2B cybersecurity sales. - Established relationships within the enterprise sector and a proven track record of successful sales in this market. - In-depth knowledge of DNS security and other cybersecurity threats and technologies. - Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience. - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth. - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. - Demonstrated success in strategic account planning and pipeline management. - Ability to understand customer needs and develop solutions that address their challenges. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to C-level executives. - Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills to manage multiple opportunities. - Experience with Salesforce for pipeline management and deal forecasting. - Ability to travel to industry conferences as needed. - An energetic & entrepreneurial team player who is a strong and proactive communicator. - Self-starter who operates independently while being collaborative with the broader team. - A very strong understanding of computer network protocols, DNS, Routing/switching, TCP/IP etc. - Remote working experience. The hiring base pay is dependent on several factors, including level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and geographic location. As a hybrid company, our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. and global geographic markets. We pay differently based on those defined markets.
