DESCRIPTION: As a Sr Marketing Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll develop impactful marketing initiatives to enable our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner and safer. In this role, you'll develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns across multiple channels while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. You'll apply data-driven insights to optimize campaign performance and deliver measurable results that drive revenue growth and customer engagement. The role offers opportunities to work with advanced marketing technologies while contributing to meaningful scientific advancement through effective marketing communications. Essential Functions and Other Job Information: - In collaboration with the Global Market Development Director, support the development and execution of differentiated B2B marketing programs for Medical Communications and PFDS business solutions - Contribute to marketing plans aligned to business priorities, supporting campaign execution within approved budgets - Assist in developing and refining value propositions, messaging frameworks, and positioning documents for commercial communications - Develop foundational commercial materials and selling collateral to support the field organization - Help translate customer needs and pain points into compelling marketing messaging - Execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels (email, web, social, search, events) - Manage day-to-day campaign activities, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with agreed marketing plans - Monitor KPIs and campaign performance metrics; analyze results and recommend optimizations in collaboration with stakeholders - Partner with internal marketing verticals (Content, Marketing Technology & Operations, ABM, Brand Execution) and external agencies to develop and launch campaigns - Support brand presence and campaign activation at major conferences and industry events REQUIREMENTS: • Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience, preferably in scientific, healthcare or B2B industries • Preferred Fields of Study: Marketing, Business, Communications, Life Sciences or related field • Marketing certifications valued (e.g. Digital Marketing, Marketing Automation, Analytics) • Digital marketing expertise across multiple channels (email, social, web, search) • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns and programs • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g. Eloqua, Adobe, Marketo) and CRM systems • Advanced analytical skills with ability to derive insights from campaign data and metrics • Experience with project management tools and methodologies • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines • Excellent writing and content development capabilities • Knowledge of marketing compliance and brand guidelines • Demonstrated success achieving marketing KPIs and business results • Ability to stay current with emerging marketing trends and technologies • Strong presentation and stakeholder management abilities • Travel may be required (10-15%)
