ICT Consultant
AECOM
• AECOM’s Technology Solutions Group (TSG) is seeking an Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) Consultant to join our ICT Team. • Develop and formulate solutions to client problems on assigned projects • Under general direction, responsible for the creation of work plans and task definitions • Has broad technical knowledge but possesses an area of specialization or focus • Apply in-depth knowledge of ICT Infrastructure types and uses to perform complex and unique assignments including survey, design, development, and construction administration of ICT infrastructure projects. • Be responsible for ICT design and consulting for: Data Centers, Healthcare Facilities, Government Facilities, Commercial Facilities, Structured Cabling Systems (SCS). • Perform specific and/or limited ICT Design and Consulting duties as part of a team of expert Consultants. • Gather and correlate engineering data using established and well-defined procedures. • Provide guidance and direction to internal mid-level consultants and production staff. • Perform work in accordance with the agreed-upon budget and schedule with minimal supervision.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university + 8 years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Current BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Certification or other active BICSI Certification.
- Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
- 8+ years of design experience with ICT infrastructure
- Professional experience and/or proficiency in various software products, including but not limited to, Revit, AutoCAD, Visio Professional, Bluebeam Extreme (Revu), Microsoft Project, Microsoft 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) and other ICT Specific Programs.
- Professional experience and/or proficiency in various Codes Standards and regulations including but not limited to Permitting, State & Local Ordinances, IEEE – C2 Standard (National Electrical Safety Code), OSHA - 1910 Standards, TIA – Cabling Standards, TIA – Data Center Standards and BICSI – TDMM and other Manuals.
